2015 in review

It was six years ago that I came across the concept of an online journal for your child. It seemed self-important, self-indulgent, pretentious, exploitative, and mostly just creepy. Then I read, I read a lot. I was pregnant and scared about the alien in me. Terrified I would die in childbirth or, worse based on Pinterest, forget any detail about her birth and infancy. Which brings us to where we’re at now…

I’m happy that anyone is willing to read my work and appreciative to all of you for visiting or following this column. May your new year be bright, without natural or man-made disasters, and no one wake you by sitting on your head with a fully loaded diaper. Cheers!

(The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2015 annual report for this blog.)

Here’s an excerpt:

A San Francisco cable car holds 60 people. This blog was viewed about 890 times in 2015. If it were a cable car, it would take about 15 trips to carry that many people.
